Hello,
It's been a while since we updated our website.
Between now and March many things happened with the band.
This month JC exists for 10 years now (06-06-1997 the first demo punk is dead was recorded)
and will continue to promote our musical violence for sure if you like it or not...
(without a bassplayer!). A lot of things happened in those 10 years, too many to mention.
Memorable things like the tours, the records, shows with great bands and all the friendships with people from all around the
world. In April/May we did a tour in 6 countries with our friends from Mihoen!
We played in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungaria.
It was a real killer. We like to thank all the people involved in the tour, like Rado, Tommy, Kali, Robert, Edgar, just to name a few.
Great job for sure, you know who you are.Roland and Corrina from Mulheim invited us for the 3 day festival in januari 2008 after seein us play in Mulheim at the last day of our 15 day tour. It was nice to be back in Mulheim again since 1999. To read our tourreport chech our myspace site: www.myspace.com/jesuscrostmusic
Also check out the reports/photo's from our show in Bratislava and Ziar Nad Hronom at www.mangelcrusties.sk
After the tour we did one show at Punkfest in June at the Buze.
The show was fast as always.
Artilleria did also show up at the bill. 3 D-beat songs about Dinamo Kiev were brought to the people. Now we have a summerbreak untill July 20.
July 20 we will play at DB's in Utrecht with Say Why?/Lycantrophy and Mihoen!
We planned another European tour next year and hopefully with the guys from Mihoen! again.
End of the this year we will do 4 shows with Jobcrusher in Belgium and Holland to promote their Full length album.
We will go to the studio ourselves November 30, december 1st & 2nd.
20 new songs will be recorded to be released by Filth-Ear on LP.
Most of the songs we played on tour. We're looking for a label that's willing to release the CD version of the LP.
I try to update the website more often. When we have more news we will let you know.

Bye, 13

Hi Folks.
Some good and bad news again from our side.
The bad news is we won't be playing in Ukraine during our Eastern Europe Tour with Mihoen!.
Instead of Ukraine we will head for Slovakia and Czech-Republic.
It's a real pitty if some organisers already set up some shows for us in Ukraine.
We have personal reasons to go to Slovakia and Czech-Republic. That's it.
The shows in Poland and Germany will 100% go on. We will have a great time.

More news is that we are going back to the studio in december.
Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg (Germany) will be it to record a split LP.
More than 20 songs will be recorded.
We have plans with a split with a Polish Grind band, but it depends on the labels.
Bye for now, and by the way, I've got a fuckin sore throat of the rehearsel session of today..

22-02-2007

Hello,
Some bad news from our side:
Our show at the IDEM Squat in Knesselare is cancelled for 99%. The festival will go on, but probably without us.
Our drummer, 10, seriously injured his arm during a football match.
We are not famous of cancelling gigs and it's hard for us, but really for the organiser of the show.
We wish Tijmen and the other guys who made the show possible a good evening and lots of fun with the other bands.
The show in Brussels on 23 March will go on if the drummer takes some rest. More news later about this.

After bad news, there's always some good news.
Well, we really make progress setting up shows for the tour with Mihoen! end of April.
A lots of shows are confirmed (see shows for exact dates) in really cool places like Berlin, Warsaw, Kiev etc.
Altough it's sometimes dissapointed to say no to someone who's a really good guy and is excited to set up a show, but
we can't split up ourselves.
Wanhfried, you know who you are..but thanks anyway for all your help and keep up the good work!

Just a few more weeks and than the shirts will arrive, we will keep you informed.
Bye,

Is there any news about the tour? Well,Yes.

Yes,
Our first time at the ACU in Utrecht.
It was great, lots of people did show up.
Our show was a real 'sunday' show, not much power and a bit messy, but with a great sound.
Actually we're not really fans of Sunday shows, only when we're on tour or have the chance to play
with some other great bands.
When we saw what kind of bands would play in ACU, we could't see no.
We played first and Blood I Bleed played second. They reminded me of Heresy and Ripcord on the Funk as Puck video..
Shades of grey from Sweden sounded like Tradegy mixed with some metal crust parts.
Their bassplayer had a problem with his hand, so the vocalist played all the bassparts.
A great show with also a great sound!
Fubar finished the Hardcore matinee with a Super show!
Turbo violence in your face! Fubar is Champions League. Nothing more, nothing less.
Also a big thanks to Friso and ACU for setting up the gig.

There's more news:
The next couple of months we won't do many gigs. We will be like rats in dark holes..
The plan is to write lots of new songs and take a critical look at the last setlists.
The plans for a tour with Mihoen! from Utrecht are still there. May/June next year we will be touring
lots of countries in 2,5 weeks. So, when we play in your home-town go take a look, you won't be dissapointed!
Bye for now and Hoije for all the people from Utrecht.

See you folks at ACU! En geen smoesjes deze keer...

The show yesterday in Dordrecht(Anarres) was great.
Dod started with a great show that reminds me of Holefiller from Belgium mixed with Satanic Malfunctions.
We played second and did an energic show and screamed our lungs out. Ja!
Cancer Clan from Potsdam did their first show outside Germany. Ultra Blast-beat grind (not D-beat!) terrorised the crowd.
A Super show!
After a very nice veggy meal, Bakfiets Boys did their show. It could not really impress me, altough it's funny to see
when you play 3 chords Punk people like it more than over the top powerviolence/grind.. yeah, What's new?
Tim and UPS also showed up with the Distro and it was really nice to see you guys again (the only 2 friends left in the scene..)
With a bag full of Cyness records and t-shirts we loaded our car with gear and went home.
It was a great day thanks to Vivaldo (nr.7) who did a great job with organising this unorganised mess.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Folks, It was great playing with CBU yesterday.
Cool to see Oliver, he's the video-hero of Funk is Puck(1988). In case that you don't know,
He filmed great concerts of Heresy, Napalm Death, ENT, Ripcord, Doom and many others.
CBU did an amazing show.
The played the old stuff mixed with some new songs, D-beat in your face with female vocals.
'Man Made Filth' from Alkmaar surprised me with their cool D-beat/crust like CBU in an English jacket..
Our show was short as always. The microphone died after 2 songs, that was the only minus, but the rest of the show was great.
That's the way we think about it. We played a mixed set with grind/powerviolence pieces and some Heresy parts.
If we must believe the people it was a good show and way faster than the last show we did in Baroeg.
Only 33 people visited the Bar & Boos, that's a shame when CBU plays in your town..
Altough many people didn't show up, it was a great night with great bands playing.
Thanks to Row from Krush who set up the gig and CBU and MMF for playing with us.

NEWS

Yesterday we played in Baroeg Rotterdam. A pitty that many people stayed at home on the couch and didn't visit Baroeg yesterday.
A lot of great bands played, but only 25 people showed up. Maybe it was because of the weather, MDC in Alkmaar or the Wasted
festival in Amsterdam, I don't know.. and the grind/crust scene in Rotterdam is not that big either. Rotterdam is more
the city of Oi!/Punkrock/NY-hardcore and other stupid noises.
The best band was FUBAR from Limburg (that's my opinion). They did a great show, brutal grind in your face.
Our gig was Ok, but at least not the best gig we've done so far, shit happens.
Altough the bands arrived late, the time-scedule remained in contact.
We've got some tips if you like to see some great bands in the next few weeks:
Friday 19-05-2006 we'll play with Cluster Bomb Unit in Bar & Boos Leiden + Man Made Filth.
Wednesday 24-05-2006 Extreme Noise Terror plays in Parkhof Alkmaar, Entrance only 6 Euro.
Sunday 28-05-2006 Mihoen! will do their 10 Years Existance gig in the ACU Utrecht with some other great bands.
(Insult, Point of Few and Cockroach). The kind of hardcore Matinee starts at 15.00. Be there!
Take care,

First of all we would like to thank all the great people that showed up yesterday at Bomvrij Hospitaal.
After 7 years it was great to play in our home-town again.
The show was fast, and most of all very loud.
New pictures will be added soon. (thanks Hans!)
Also a big thanks to Tim and Cynthia for showing up all the way from Belgium, it was great to see you guys again.

23-04-2006

New songs added, take a look at discography.. thanks for the add, ha ha.

22-04-2006

Sunday 07-05 We'll play in de Baroeg Rotterdam at 'In Crust we trust'.

Lots of good bands will play there, here's the schedule:
15.30 - 16.05 Civil Terror (Crust)
16.25 - 17.00 Jesus Cröst (Grind/powerviolence attack)
17.20 - 17.55 Blood I Bleed (ex- My Minds Mine)
18.15 - 18.50 F.U.B.A.R. (Limbo-Grind)
19.10 - 19.45 Mihoen (Utreg Keukenpunx)
20.05 - 20.40 Skulls And Flames (great Crust from the North-East of Holland)
+ Punk/Crust Distro's.

Friday 19-5 Bar & Boos Leiden We play with Cluster Bomb Unit, legends of D-beat!
Man Made Filth from Alkmaar will also trash the place with their Brutal D-beat/Crust.

In June we won't do any gigs. Maybe you have noticed we are big fans of football and in June we'll be following the Championship in Germany and visit some matches.
In July/August we'll be on the bill again for some gigs. In September, 13 (JC guitarplayer) will go to Indonesia for a short month, so no gigs in September.
There are plans for a split with Artilleria from Ukraine. Brutal D-beat in the vein of Cracked Cop Skulls/Disgust. More about this later.
Hope to see you soon at one of our gigs!
Cheers,

Hi There,
Our tour with Mihoen! was really great, finally here's the tour report.

Wednesday 26-1 Speed skating at Köpi, Koma F. Berlin (D).
We went to the Bilt near Utecht to sleep at Rene's place.
The story why Mihoen! joined the tour and not Jobcrusher doesn't have to be told.
Early in the morning we went to Köpi in Berlin and arrived at 20.00 o'clock
Köpi is one of the biggest squats in Germany, and I can tell you it's huge.
After a really nice vegan meal we unloaded the van and did our soundcheck.
It took a while before the PA-dude tested the microphones.
We started the show and after 5 minutes we had to quit, because most of the crowd would
come later so we could continue later.
We did our show, at least not the best show ever, but everyone knows how first shows are on a tour.
Mihoen! played next, they trashed the place with their Ultra-speedcore!
A joenge, a great gig! We stayed a while at Köpi and talked a lot with people.
We got the key from Sabrina's house (thanx) and stayed there for the night.
It was a great start of the tour

27-1 Help, Jim Morrison is grunting in my ears! Sprungschanz, Dresden (D)
In the morning we collected breakfast and went to our favorite recordstore in Berlin,
Yellow Dog, a fuckin great store with tons of grind/crust/powerviolence records.
We bought some stuff like SM 70, Yacopsae, Dropdead, Raw noise etc. etc.
At 15.30 we hit the road to Dresden. Afters a 3 hour drive we arrived at Sprungschanz.
The club would be closed in 2 days, so it was almost the last show.
Dead Kaspar Housers from Berlin started with their brutal D-beat in the vein of State of fear
and Doom. It was a pretty good show.
We played second and it was really energetic and a good show.
Mihoen! played after us and again they showed they belong in the Champions-League of
Punk/Crust bands. If you have the chance to see them, go and see 'm!
It was a really good night in Dresden and we wish Wahnfried and the people from Sprungschanz
a lot of luck to find another place for independent music.

28-1 Godflesh in Most/Vtlno, Za Vraty Most (CZ)
The next day we walked through Dresden, because it's always nice to see more than only the
squat/youthcentre where you play. Dresden really impressed me.
We walked for 3 hours and loaded the van with the backline and went towards Czech-Republic.
Through the mountains with lots of snow we parked the car inside the club called
Za Vraty. The place was really nice, there was also a small bar that reminds me of the days
I was at school.
Mihoen! played first and yes again...fucking great!
We played second and with a great sound we blown away Za Vraty.
We sounded like Napalm Death in the old days.
NPLMD was the last band, this one man show was great too, he went wild with his noise not music.
After a lot of drinks and cardtricks by Irmin we went to bed.
A joenge, the guitar player of Mihoen! sounds like Godflesh when he's a sleep!
It really was great night, but ofcourse without Godflesh..

29-1 Scrotum XXL, Klub 007 Praha (CZ) And yet again it's the last day of the Jesus Crost/Mihoen! mini-tour.
From Most to Praha it's not far away, just a 2 hour drive.
We had to be at Klub 007 in Strahov, a legandary place where lost of great bands have played.
The club is loctaed underneith a flat, a great place to play.
2 bands are at the flyer. Jesus Crost and Jobcrusher.
Plans changed, Mihoen! instead of Jobcrusher and a third band was added 'Basto'.
Basto, Brutal D-beat in the Scandinavian style of Wolfpack did an excellent show.
Great sound and great songs.
We played second, our final show of the tour and maybe it was our best gig of the 4 we did.
We also played some D-beat songs from our split EP with Active Minds to pleasure the crowd.
Mihoen! was the last band and what do I have to say more about these guys? Ruig!
When the club was empty we went to Milans house, really nice.
At the gallery of his house we decided to start a new band called Scrotum XXL, Aaaargh!
So, if you see a record of them, buy it!
The next day we went to our van for our 13 hour drive home.
Man, this tour was really great and will be continued in the future for sure!

01-01-2006

First of all, a happy new year to everybody. You know who you are, ha ha.
Well, the tour-plans have changed a little bit, Jobcrusher won't join us on tour.
Mihoen! from Utrecht will replace them. During the years they have toured a lot.
We're very happy to do the tour together, it's a long time ago since we've played They have several releases out, including a 7" EP with Cockroach and an 7" EP with
Container Crusties from Hell. Mihoen plays very fast punk in the style of Larm.
Check out their site at Mihoen

The Germany/ Czech mini-tour will be in 4/5 cities. Wednesday we'll play in Germany,
but we don't know the place yet. Thursday 26-1 We start in Berlin at Koma F
the biggest squat in Berlin. It's at the Koepi-basement in the centre of Berlin (Mitte).
The next day we'll drive to Dresden in the South-east of Germany to play at Sprungschanz (27-1).
28-1 We'll cross the border and drive towards Czech-Republic and will play in Most-Vtlno.
It's in the North of Czech and about 80 km from Praha. This place called Za Vraty.
NPLMD (Noise-core from CZ) will also join the party that night.
The last day of the mini-tour will be on Sunday 29-1 in Klub 007, that's in the centre of Praha.
We're really looking forward to do the tour. If there will be any changes we'll let you know.
Our new record (Fehlentscheidung) that was released in October is doing well. We are satisfied with
the result and the reactions are very positive. Already 250 LP's have been sold, trade or given away.
All the way from Ipswich to Tokio.. For more info about the record (or to buy it) feel free to sent us an
e-mail or contact Filth-ear distro/Amber-records from Belgium.
Maybe some people have noticed that we don't do lots of gigs. To be honest we've decided to do so. We only do little tours ¾ days and not one at the time shows, only sometimes at special locations or festivals. Because that will cost us the whole weekend for a 20 minute power-violence show and most of the time the other bands are crap anyway. At least we're honest about it. But of course feel free to write us if you're interested in a grind/powerviolence attack in your face.. Some (vegetarian) food/juice and money for the gas are most of the time enough for us to relight your party. That's it for now, Cheers

The new Fehlentscheidung LP

September 21st:

Yes, the Jesus Crost/ Jobcrusher mini-tour was really great, also thanks to Cleveson, our Brazilian driver.
Thursday 25-8 we played with Makiladoras in Zwolle at an old Opelgarage. They reminded me of Concrete sox,
a really great band. We played ok, not very great, but the crowd liked it (at least more than 100, not bad for a
Thursday night in Zwolle). After we slept at Nieuwstraat we went to Germany for a long journey.
We arrived at 22.00 in Hannover and the gig started at 23.00 at Stumpf. A really cool place and very
nice people. We played first and we were satisfied about our performance, especially our Heresy cover
‘face up to it’. Jobcrusher played next, also a good gig, and the last band was The Observers (US), not
really my cup of tea, but in their style pretty ok. After the gig we went to Mupes place and woke up with
a really nice breakfast, thanks a lot! In the morning we went back to Groningen to play at ‘the Barakade’
(A Squat in the Centre of Groningen). Lots of people showed up at the venue, about 200, and saw lots of
bands playing. Gewapend Beton (GBH/ Chaos UK style), was great. Jobcrusher did a fantastic show, the crowd
went wild (just like us). Hysteria, was a bit disappointing, too much booze for the drummer...
We also did a good show, 15 minutes of powerviolence in your face.. it was our best gig of the mini-tour.
Late at night we went back to Zwolle and it all ended in Hellevoetsluis (our home town) at 07.00 in my bed
Sunday morning. The mini-tour with Jobcrusher was so great that we’ve decided to do it again, but only
more gigs this time and in Germany, Poland and other countries. Sorry grind/powerviolence fans from Holland and Belgium,
no gigs in your area this time...

If there are some diy organizers in Germany/Poland/Czech Republic who want to help us out with any gig(s)
from 24 januari 2006 untill 29 January 2006, please get in touch
As always, we’ll bring a backline and of course Jobcrusher with us, ha ha. So, when the schedule is for sure, we’ll let you know.

There’s more news, on September 3th we went to Belgium to do the last things for the new LP ‘Fehlentscheidung’
and it’s for sure it will be released October. You order this 26 x grind attack on the snare at Filth Ear Records or amber-records.
Or of course you can mail us for a personal signed record...

A Malaysian label [click here for info] will release our compilation CDR ‘8 years of errors’ on a tape, really cool!

A Dutch grindlabel, Rotting Bowels will release a compilation cd with several grind/crust bands and asked us to fill in
5 minutes of noise. In January 2005 we did a radio-session at Radio Centraal (Antwerp, Belgium).
The session was recorded and can soon be heard at this cd. For more information.

Cheers,
